"This Is Home" - Juried Art Competition

The Palette of Roses Art League and Gallery Main Street invite artists to submit work for "This Is Home," a juried exhibition exploring the many ways we define, create, and carry home. Whether rooted in a physical space, a cultural tradition, a relationship, or a moment in time, home can be both deeply personal and universally understood. Artists are encouraged to interpret the theme broadly: home as architecture or landscape, as body or memory, as community or identity.

Submissions are limited to 3 pieces per artist. The entry fee is $35.00. A professional juror (TBA) will select participating works and award distinctions for excellence in concept and execution. Awards include a Best In Show Cash Award & Ribbon of $250 and a People's Choice Cash Award & Ribbon of $150. The Best In Show winner will be announced at the artist reception and awards ceremony on Friday, January 9th from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. The People's Choice winner will be announced on Monday, March 9th.

Entry deadline is 11:59pm December 29, 2025. Notification of acceptance is January 2, 2026. Delivery of work is due January 7, 2026. The exhibition runs January 9 to March 2, 2026 at Gallery Main Street, 110 W Erwin Street, Tyler, Texas 75702. Parking is available in the parking garage.
