THIS IS HOME – CALL FOR ENTRIES

Just what—and where—is home? For some, home may be about family. Or home might be a place where old friends gather. For some, home might be an inner place of meditative peace. Home could be a cozy place for one—or a vast space that includes many. Is home a place for individuals? For societies? For civilizations? Is home domestic, or wild? Is it a place of belonging, nurturing, and tranquility? A place of support, of comfort? Or does home trigger memories imbued with unsettling reminders of misfortune and dysfunction? Is home where we were, where we are, or where we want to be? Home might point to our origins—where we came from—or it might point to a destination or state of being we have always longed for. What images and ideas come forth to you when contemplating this theme?
