About This Call
The Winter Show is a juried all-media online exhibition hosted by Palos Verdes Art Center, open only to current members in good standing. The exhibition runs December 4, 2020 - January 17, 2021.
Juror: Peggy Sivert (Zask), a Los Angeles-born artist and founder/executive director of SoLA Contemporary. Sivert holds a BA in Art Education from CSU Long Beach and an MA in Humanities from CSU Dominguez Hills. She worked as a high school art teacher in Manhattan Beach for 20 years and exhibits sculpture and painting throughout Southern California and internationally.
Submission Details: Artists may submit up to 3 pieces of original artwork for a $35 entry fee. All mediums are eligible. Online submission via CaFE runs November 2-17, 2020. Jury deliberation occurs November 18-24, with artist notifications by November 25. Image requirements: JPEG or JPG format only, 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side, under 5 MB file size, sRGB color profile. All work must be original to the artist, with source material either original or from a permitted source. PVAC will take a 25% commission on all sales of exhibited artwork.
