The Wild Bunch – Western-adjacent Themed Group Art Show

Memento Mori Gallery & Tattoo is hosting "The Wild Bunch," an annual western-adjacent themed art show in January in honor of the Western Stock Show. The gallery, located in the 40West Arts District in Lakewood, Colorado, invites lowbrow and macabre artwork alongside western themes. Guest juror for this show is artist Ryan A. Lee.

This is a regional exhibition open only to artists residing in the American Far West: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. Submit 2D or 3D western-adjacent themed artwork that is ready to hang or display physically. Artwork must be ready to hang with hardware already attached (plain canvas without hanging wire will not be accepted). Hanging wire is preferred; no adhesive mounts. Photographic work depicting another artist's artwork is not accepted without express permission from the original artist. Each piece requires a $20 entry fee, and artists may submit up to 2 pieces. All artwork must be for sale, with 40% of sales going to the gallery.

Drop-off date is December 30, 2023. The exhibition runs January 5-27, 2024, with a First Friday opening reception on January 5 from 6-9pm featuring music and refreshments. Pick-up date is January 27, 2024. The gallery is located at 6451 W. Colfax Ave, Suite B, Lakewood, Colorado 80214.
