The Twelfth Biannual Exhibition

Angad Arts Hotel invites submissions for The Twelfth Biannual Exhibition, showcasing artwork from artists within a 200-mile radius of Saint Louis. Selected artwork will be prominently displayed in public areas of the hotel, located in the Grand Center Arts District, with high visibility to national and international guests and opportunity for sale.

Submissions may include drawing, painting, graphic design, photography, printmaking, glass, assemblage, collage, written word, fiber, sculpture, or video media. There is no theme. Final pieces must be professionally framed and/or ready for display. Submissions must include final dimensions with framing. Textile artists have a special opportunity to submit a large installation piece with fixed height of 110 inches and variable width from 60 to 300 inches for the hotel's reception desk. Sculpture must be wall-mounted protruding no more than six inches. Video media will be displayed on a TV via USB in the express elevators.

Entry fee is $35 (no fee until March 14, 2025). Submission deadline is April 4, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Submissions must include full name and contact information, social media handles, artist statement, purchase valuation including 40% commission, high-resolution JPEG with framing preferred, and artwork title, size, weight, media description, and dimensions. Optional materials include CV/resume and written summary of relevant experience (500 words maximum). Notification of acceptance will be sent by April 11, 2025. Artwork must be delivered no later than April 20, 2025. Opening reception is April 29, 2025, with exhibition remaining on display until late October 2025. Artist is responsible for delivery and shipping. Selected artwork will be featured on the hotel's website and online shop at www.shop.angadartshotel.com. Angad Arts Hotel retains 40% commission on sales; artist receives 60%.
