The THIRTEENTH Biannual Exhibition

Angad Arts Hotel invites submissions for artwork from the Greater Saint Louis region and surrounding 200-mile radius for the THIRTEENTH Biannual Exhibition. Open to individuals living in the St. Louis, Missouri region and surrounding 200-mile radius (Chicago, IL and Kansas City, MO are not eligible). There is no theme for this submission process. Artwork selected will be prominently showcased in public areas of Angad Arts Hotel, the first arts hotel in Saint Louis, with daily foot traffic including national and international guests. The exhibition runs from November 4, 2025 through late April 2026.

Submissions may include drawing, painting, graphic design, photography, printmaking, glass, assemblage, collage, written word, fiber, sculpture, or video media. Final pieces must be professionally framed and/or ready for display. All framed pieces must have wires on the back (no sawtooth hooks). Wrapped canvas must be painted on the sides and have hanging hardware. Submissions must include final dimensions with framing. A special installation opportunity is available for textile artists: a large textile piece with fixed height of 110 inches and width varying from 60 to 300 inches for the reception desk. Sculpture must be wall-mounted protruding no more than six inches. Video media will be displayed on a TV via USB in express elevators.

Entry fee is $35 (free through midnight Friday, September 26th). Submission deadline is Sunday, October 12th, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Proposals must include full name and contact information, artist statement, purchase valuation (including 40% commission), high-resolution JPEG of artwork, artwork title, size, weight, media description, and dimensions with frame. Optional materials include curriculum vitae and written summary of relevant experience (500 words maximum). Artwork must be delivered no later than Saturday, October 25th, 2025. Notification to all entrants will be provided no later than Friday, October 17th, 2025. Selected artwork will be promoted through AAH's website, social media, and online shop at www.shop.angadartshotel.com, included in the Grand Center Art District's First Friday artwalks, and featured in monthly curator tours.
