The Summer Show 2025

The Summer Show 2025 is a juried all-media exhibition hosted by Palos Verdes Art Center, open for submission only to current members in good standing of the center's seven active artist groups: Artists Open Group, Pacific Arts Group, Paletteers, Peninsula Artists, Photographic and Digital Artists, The Artists Studio, and The Third Dimension.

The exhibition runs July 19 – August 16, 2025. Juror Dennis Keeley, an artist and photographer whose work is held in the permanent collections at LACMA, MOCA, and the J. Paul Getty Center Trust, will select works for exhibition. Online submissions via CaFÉ are accepted May 20 - June 19, 2025. Artists may submit up to 3 pieces for a $35 entry fee. Juror selections will be announced June 25, 2025. Selected works must be hand-delivered to the Main Gallery on Friday, July 11 between 9:00 and 11:00 am. The opening reception is Saturday, July 19 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Art pick-up is Monday, August 18 from 9:00 to 11:00 am.

All media is eligible. Two-dimensional artwork must not exceed 50 x 60 inches including framing and 30 pounds. Three-dimensional artwork must not exceed 72 x 36 x 36 inches and 150 pounds. All work must be original to the artist. Artwork previously exhibited at PVAC is not eligible. PVAC retains a 25% commission on all sales. Insurance coverage applies only during the exhibition duration; PVAC carries no earthquake insurance.
