The Sound of Silence

We invite artists to submit work for an upcoming exhibition exploring the boundaries of abstract photography. This show seeks to celebrate images that challenge perception, blur reality, and transform the everyday into the extraordinary. Whether through light, texture, movement, or conceptual experimentation, we are looking for bold photographic work that redefines what a photograph can be. All styles and techniques are welcome—digital, analog, pin-hole, experimental.

Open to all fine art mediums (oil, acrylic, watermedia, pastel, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, photography, sculpture, fiber, wood, digital art) except video. This call is open to all artists worldwide, both amateur and professional. Entry fee is $20 for the first entry and $5 for each additional entry, up to a maximum of 20 images. Payment is non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance. Work that is copied or done under the guidance of an instructor is not eligible.

Entry deadline is Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Notification of winners will be completed by Friday, July 25, 2025. Awards: First place - $300, second place - $200, and third place - $100. All images must be in JPEG or JPG format with a minimum size of 1,200 pixels on the longest side and maximum file size of 5 MB. This is an online show only with no shipping required. All sales inquiries will be directed to the artist.
