The Shop Spring 2026

Marion Cultural Alliance seeks fine arts and artisan crafts for The Shop at Brick Gallery, located at 23 SW Broadway St. in downtown Ocala. The gallery has been a hub for artists and art lovers since 2001. Items will be carefully selected by the Gallery Committee with consideration for quality, representation of the area, broad retail appeal, and price.

Eligible mediums include original paintings, drawings, photographs, jewelry, ceramics, glass, wood, metal, artist-made notecards, reproduction prints, textiles, artist-made wearables, home décor items, holiday items, and uniquely Ocala items. Artists must be active MCA members (membership starts at $35 per year and can be joined online at mcaocala.org/membership). Artwork must be handmade and original—no kits or mass-produced items. Artists may submit a maximum of 10 original works, each with a suggested size limit of up to 20 inches in any direction. All artwork must be display-ready.

Applications must be submitted through ArtCall at mcashopspring26.artcall.org by January 18, 2026 at 11:59pm, including high-resolution images, contact information, artwork title, dimensions, sale price, and a brief artist statement or bio. Artists will be notified of acceptance by 6pm on January 23, 2026. Selected artists must drop off approved items during gallery hours between January 27-31, 2026. The consignment period runs through April 2025, with sales split 70% to the artist and 30% to MCA. Checks and unsold items will be available for pickup after the 90-day consignment period.
