About This Call
The Seventh Annual Fine Art of Photography Exhibition is a juried photography exhibition open to all photographers and artists submitting photography. The exhibition accepts entries in three categories: Color, Black and White, and Non-Traditional (including digitally enhanced images, vintage and alternative printing processes, and pinhole/plastic camera imagery). Painted photographs, digital artwork not created through photography, and mixed media artwork containing photographs will not be accepted. All work must be for sale.
Awards include $500 for Best in Show, $250 First Place and $100 Second Place in each category, and two Honorable Mentions per category. Artists may submit up to 15 images, but only a maximum of two images per artist will be accepted for exhibition, and only one award will be given to each artist. Entry fee is $10.00 per image. Accepted work must be framed, sturdy, wired, and ready for hanging, not exceeding 48 inches in any direction. Drop-off of accepted work is scheduled for Sunday, April 30th from Noon to 4:00pm and Monday, May 1st from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. The exhibition runs from Saturday, May 6th through Saturday, June 17th, with a Reception and Awards Ceremony on Sunday, May 7th from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. Judges' selections will be posted by April 1st. The Plymouth Guild receives commission on all sales: 30% from members and 40% from non-members. Work is submitted at the artist's risk; the Plymouth Guild is not responsible for fire, theft, loss, or damage.
