The Red Brick 2014 Biennial

The Red Brick announces the 4th Biennial Juried Art Exhibition, open to artists living at least 50% of the time in the Roaring Fork Valley, including Aspen, Snowmass Village, Old Snowmass, Basalt, El Jebel, Carbondale, Glenwood Springs, Redstone, and Marble. Artists who live in Western Colorado and have previously exhibited with The Red Brick are also welcome to apply.

Entry fee is $35. Artists must submit three electronic images of work with maximum dimensions of 40" wide and 60" high (framed size for framed pieces). Applicants must choose to submit either 2-dimensional or 3-dimensional pieces, as works will be judged separately by category. The three works submitted may not have been previously exhibited at The Red Brick Gallery. One piece from the body of three images may be selected for the exhibit, with a maximum of one piece per artist if accepted. All mediums are invited. Art may be listed for sale with 20% of any purchases going to The Red Brick as commission.

The 2014 Biennial will be juried by Kathy Andrews, a fine arts appraiser, independent curator, and artist coach based in Denver. Ms. Andrews has served as Director and Curator of Metro State College's Center for Visual Art and Gallery, and Museum Director and Curator at the Arvada Center for the Arts, mounting over 200 exhibitions during her career.
