THE QUARTERLY | Winter 2023 Issue & Exhibit

The QUARTERLY is a contemporary art publication and exhibition by Dabster Arts Inc. Since 2011, the organization has displayed and documented contemporary art and artists. The QUARTERLY is a quarterly art project that focuses on individuals with unique stories and the distinctive artwork they are creating. Artists are invited to submit work for the Winter 2023 issue and coinciding exhibition. The concept or artistic theme is determined by the artists and their submissions.

Selected artists will be featured in the publication and exhibition. Artists will receive either a feature (1-3 pages with write-up and pictorial) or a full article (3-6 pages with write-up, interview, and full pictorial spread) in the physical publication, plus a gratis copy of the issue. The QUARTERLY Winter 2023 Issue will be available for sale on Amazon, Blurb, the organization's website, and gallery locations. The publication will be sent to LACMA's Balch Art Research Library and MFAH's Hirsch Library. Selected artists will also participate in a 3-month online exclusive exhibition listed on the organization's website and ARTSY sales platform. A virtual opening reception will include a panel discussion moderated by the Dab Art Co. Director. The exhibition runs from January 21 to April 30, 2023.

Entry fee is $45 for 5 images; additional images cost $5 each (maximum 20 images total). Artists must submit 5-20 images. All work must be original, unsold, and the artist must own the sole copyright. Accepted artwork includes painting, printmaking, sculpture, glass, fiber, functional, digital, photography, installation, mixed media, and new genres. All artwork selected must remain available for sale for the entirety of the exhibition. The gallery retains a 50% commission on all exhibition sales. Sales remittance to artists will be provided within 5-7 business days after payment is received. Entries made on or before December 31, 2022 will be considered.
