About This Call

Nails in the Wall Gallery, a Ministry of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, invites artists to submit work for "The Pursuit of Happiness," a juried exhibition exploring the theme of pursuing happiness in the face of life's challenges.

The exhibition theme asks: What overarching challenges to the pursuit of happiness have you observed in your country, the world or the planet? What does it mean to pursue? Why is happiness different for different people? What happiness have you seen? A wide variety of interpretations of this theme are welcome. The exhibition runs from Saturday, February 21 through May 17, 2026.

Artists may submit up to 5 entries by email to [email protected] or online. There is no entry fee. Images must be named as title_size_medium (for example: flowers_8x10_painting). Use inches for size and do not include additional information such as your name in the image filename. Art created solely by using AI technology is not accepted at this time; all other mediums will be considered. The submission deadline is January 14, 2026. St. Luke's Episcopal Church is located at 17 Oak Ave, Metuchen, NJ 08840. For questions, call 732-548-4308.
