About This Call
"The Present Moment" is a group show centered around the idea of mindfulness in life and art. The Vanessa Lacy Gallery is accepting any and all mediums and subjects that fit the "The Present Moment" theme. All artwork must be original and available for sale. No reproductions will be accepted, excluding photography.
Entry deadline is July 15th, 2018 at midnight MST. Entry fee is $10.00. Submit 1-6 images of your work. The judge is Teresa Magel, a Kansas City artist represented by the Hilliard Gallery. Entries will be juried on July 18th, 2018.
Accepted artists must deliver work to the Vanessa Lacy Gallery between August 3rd and August 7th, 2018 during business hours, or ship work to arrive by August 7th, 2018. Out of town artists must include a return shipping label with shipped work. Any 2D artwork not framed and wired or ready for installation will not be accepted. The opening reception is Friday, August 10th, 2018 from 5pm-9pm. The closing reception is October 6th, 2018 from 11am-3pm. Artists must pick up work during the closing reception or on October 9th or 10th during gallery hours. The exhibition runs August 10th - October 6th, 2018.
