The Portrait Society of Atlanta Spring 2026 Juried Exhibition

The Portrait Society of Atlanta Spring 2026 Juried Exhibition will be held February 21 – April 18, 2026 at the Hudgens Center for the Arts. This is a members-only juried exhibition with an additional category for youth ages 18-22 who do not need to be members. Prospective members are not required to live in Georgia or the greater Atlanta region.

Eligible entries must be original, 2-dimensional or 3-dimensional fine art portraiture or figure work in any medium. Entries must not have been exhibited in a PSA exhibition in the last 2 years, never won first place in any previous PSA exhibition, or been displayed in more than 2 prior PSA exhibitions. Artwork must contain a human person with at least three of the following features: ear (unless covered), eye, nose, or mouth. Facial features should be shown as part of the head. Figures without clothing done in good taste are permitted. Pets are acceptable only when accompanying a human. No digital reproductions, digitally generated art, AI-generated art, copies of other original art, student/class/workshop work, photography, or paintings over photographs are permitted. No depictions of sexual acts, violence, gore, or offensive language are allowed. Artwork size must be a minimum of 5" x 7" without a frame. All paintings delivered to Hudgens Center must be ready for hanging with D rings and wire in place, in an appropriate gallery frame or gallery-wrapped canvas.

Entry fees are $35 for PSA members (first piece) and $5 for each additional piece up to 3 pieces. Youth entries are $25 for up to 3 pieces. Entry fees are nonrefundable. The entry deadline is January 5, 2026. Submissions must be high-quality JPEG files at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB.
