The Poetry of Water: A Virtual Juried Photo Exhibit

Photo Art Pavilion invites photographers of all levels to submit water-themed photography for The Poetry of Water: A Virtual Juried Photography Exhibit. The open call seeks captivating scenes of waterfalls, serene lakes, flowing rivers, ocean waves, gentle rain, abstract water patterns, underwater worlds, and moments of human connection with water.

Submit 1-5 photographs for a $35 entry fee. All submissions must be free of watermarks or branding, in JPEG/JPG format with the longest edge of 1200 pixels and file size of 5MB or smaller. Photographers of all backgrounds and skill levels are welcome to participate, whether using a DSLR, point-and-shoot, smartphone, or other equipment. The juror is Jessica Lempin, Co-Founder of Photo Art Pavilion and Long Island Photo Gallery, an accomplished art photographer specializing in contemporary photography.

Awards include First Place ($150), Second Place ($125), Third Place ($100), and Honorable Mention ($35). All artists will be notified by email on November 1st, 2024. Selected photographs will be displayed in an online gallery on PhotoArtPavilion.com beginning November 8th, 2024. The virtual reception and awards presentation will be held online on Wednesday, November 13th, 2024 at 7:00 PM and will be recorded and posted on the Photo Art Pavilion YouTube Channel. Open to artists aged 18 years and older. The entry fee is non-refundable. By submitting, artists grant Photo Art Pavilion the right to display selected images on their website and social media platforms with artist credit.
