About This Call
The Mousa Art Initiative through Gallery 874 is seeking artists to participate in The Palestinian Holocaust: Art Against Erasure, a group exhibition addressing the ongoing Palestinian Holocaust and the systematic destruction of Palestinian life, culture, and future—particularly in Gaza. While many museums, galleries, and nonprofit arts institutions remain silent, this exhibition takes a clear and unapologetic stance. It is an act of witness, moral clarity, and resistance to institutional silence.
This call is open to all artists working in visual media. Selected artworks will be presented in a public exhibition in St. Louis, Missouri from March 13 to May 12, 2026. This opportunity is for the presentation of existing artwork in a curated group exhibition, not a commission for new work. All submitted artwork must be ready to hang upon acceptance.
Application requirements include a biography, artist statement (500-word maximum), and 1-5 work samples in JPG or PNG format for images, or MOV or MP4 format for video. Individual artists and artist teams may apply. This call is open to all artists, with priority given to those local to the Greater St. Louis area. No age restrictions apply; students, emerging, and established artists are welcome.
