The Many Ways We Are Neighbors: Art About Care, Community, and Connection Group Fine Art Exhibit

The Cora McCorvey Health and Wellness Center announces their spring and summer group fine art exhibit focused on neighbors and care. To be a neighbor is to live alongside others and share the rhythms of everyday life; the streets people walk, the buildings people inhabit, and the communities people shape together. In recent years, Minneapolis communities have experienced moments that have challenged people deeply. At the same time, they have seen neighbors step forward in extraordinary ways; offering support, creativity, generosity, and resilience. This exhibition invites artists to reflect on the many ways people practice being neighbors. Through memory, observation, imagination, and lived experience, artists are encouraged to explore connection, caregiving, belonging, and the shared experience of community life.
