About This Call
Submit your folklore and fantasy artwork to Memento Mori Gallery & Tattoo, a lowbrow/outsider contemporary art gallery located in the 40West Arts District in Lakewood, Colorado. The gallery invites the outsider, the lowbrow, and the macabre.
The exhibition runs from June 5-27, 2026, with a First Friday Reception on June 5 from 6-9pm featuring free arcade games and gift certificate giveaways for high scores. Drop-off date is May 30, 2026, and pick-up date is June 27, 2026. The gallery is located at 6451 W. Colfax Ave, Suite B, Lakewood, Colorado 80214.
Entry fee is $25 per piece; artists may submit up to 2 pieces of 2D or 3D artwork. Artwork must be for sale, with 40% of sales going to the gallery. All pieces must be ready to hang or display physically (no digital artwork unless printed and framed/mounted). "Ready to Hang" means hanging hardware is already attached; plain canvas without hanging wire will not be accepted. Hanging wire is preferred; no adhesive mounts. The gallery will not accept photographic work depicting another artist's artwork without express permission from that artist. Out-of-state artists are responsible for shipping costs to and from the gallery.
