The Keller Prize 2023

The Keller Prize is a juried art competition open to international artists over the age of 18 working in painting, photography, sculpture, drawing, printmaking, textile art, installation, or mixed media. The prize was created by Shelly Hamill in honor of her grandmother Jane Keller, a self-taught landscape painter. One Grand Prize and two Runners Up will be selected by Nicholas James Ducasse, Gallery Director for Eden Gallery in Aspen, Colorado.

Winners will be featured in a 2-page spread advertorial in the Winter/Spring 2023/2024 issue of Aspen Sojourner magazine (both print and online), valued at over $8,000. The magazine has an annual circulation of 52,000 and readership of 286,000 with an average household income over $500,000 USD. Winners will also be announced via dedicated email to the Aspen Sojourner Magazine email list (over 2,900 emails). All submitted artists will receive exposure on The Keller Prize website with links to their personal artist websites when available, and work will be displayed in an online gallery on The Keller Prize website, Instagram, and Facebook pages.

Entry fee is $45 USD for 5 images, with $4 USD for each additional image up to 15 total images ($85 USD for 15 images). Submissions must include name, email, website, Instagram username, and 5-15 images. Artists selected for final judging will be contacted to submit an Artist Statement and Biography. By submitting, artists agree to have images of their work used in print and online media. Judges' decisions are final and no refunds will be offered once a submission has been accepted.
