The Invitational at Walloon Lake July 26-27, 2025

This 6th annual 2-day invitational art fair takes place during peak season at Village Green Park, overlooking beautiful Walloon Lake. The boutique show features a maximum of 50 artists/vendors and is located in the middle of the village with spectacular Northern Michigan lakefront views. The venue is centrally located between Petoskey, Boyne City, Harbor Springs, Charlevoix, Traverse City and Mackinaw. Artists are selected through a review of their work by a panel of qualified experts, with the top artists in their categories selected according to their skill and quality of work.

The show runs Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm daily. Application fee is $15 before March 1, $25 after. Booth fee is $295, corner booth $370, double booth $690. Artists must submit 5 images including a required booth shot. Upon acceptance, a $50 deposit is required within 7 days to secure your space, with the remainder due 60 days before the event. Categories are capped with no more than 20% jewelry. Blue ribbon award includes $300 prize and free booth with jury exempt status for 2026.

Amenities include overnight self-contained parking/camping for $40 if reserved before July 1, complimentary bottled water, coffee and pastries, free vendor parking, and booth sitters. Setup begins Saturday 7am to 9am with easy load in and load out next to booths. All exhibitor tents must be white and displays must be professional. Booth spaces are approximately 12' wide by 12' deep on grass, so artists should bring materials for uneven ground.
