The Invitational at Bayview Inn

This boutique Art & Craft show will feature a maximum of 60 artists allowing for less competition, less crossover booths and more potential opportunities to connect with shoppers. The event takes place at Bayview Inn with majestic views of the lake in Petoskey. The show is open Saturday & Sunday 10am to 5pm with setup Saturday morning 6:30am to 9am. There will also be a plein air quick draw competition Saturday with auction immediately after.

Application fee is $15 with early bird pricing of $275 if paid before June 1, $325 if paid after (save $50). Artists may apply in up to 2 categories. Focus is on handmade & artist designed items but the jury will consider unique/creative gift ideas, authors, inventors and designers. Each event is juried separately and participating in one does not guarantee acceptance in future events.

Accepted categories include artist-made work (by hand or with up to 2 assistants), craft work, inventor creations, designer work, and other non-traditional items including fair trade. All exhibitor tents must be white and displays must be professional. Booth spaces are approximately 10' x 10' with at least 2 feet between booths. Artists are selected through review by a panel of experts, with categories capped at no more than 25% jewelry. The event encourages emerging artists of all levels.
