The International Art Show of Raleigh featuring the Art of India

This virtual exhibition is open to artists currently living in India or artists of Indian descent anywhere in the world. The work should reflect your cultural heritage or region of India of which you, or your ancestors are from. Your work can be traditional or modern but must reflect your culture. It is also open to artists whose work is influenced by any of the many cultures of India.

Categories include 2 dimensional work in oil, acrylics, watercolor, mixed media collage, and other 2 dimensional mediums, including original prints, jewelry, pottery, textiles and sculpture. All work must be original and handmade. Because this is a virtual show, artists are not required to submit framed work. Artists will be required to arrange delivery to the purchaser of sold pieces and will be required to negotiate with the purchaser regarding framing options and shipping costs.

Artists can submit up to 10 works. The entry fee is $35.00 for the first 3 works, then $5.00 per each additional work submitted. Only one piece will be displayed at a time. If your work sells, the next piece will be displayed. If your work fits the criteria of the call, you will have a piece in this show. International Focus will take a 20% commission on sold pieces. Artists are encouraged to submit a detailed artist statement explaining your work. On opening night, some artists will be invited to briefly talk about their work and show their studio. Opening night is Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 7pm EST. The show closes Monday, January 4, 2021.
