The Incredible Lightness of Art II

Members may submit up to three pieces of art for the juror's consideration. The organization strives to include at least one work of art from each participating artist in the exhibition.

The exhibition will be held at the Community Arts Center, 414 Plush Mill Road, Wallingford, PA 19086, from September 6 through October 11, 2025 (closing at 2 PM). The juror is Christine Stoughton. Juror awards include First Prize ($300), Second Prize ($200), Third Prize ($100), and three Honorable Mentions (one-year AE membership).

Original 2D and 3D artwork in any medium is welcome. Work must not exceed 48 inches in width (including frame) and 10 feet in height. All pieces must be ready for display with secure wire hanging and either framed or have professionally finished edges. A label must be affixed to the front with artist's name, title, medium, and price. All artwork must be for sale. 3D/pedestal work is limited to 12 inches wide and deep, and up to 36 inches high. The Community Arts Center retains a 40% commission on all sales. Artists Equity takes no commission. Work that has been shown in an Artists Equity exhibition within the past four years should not be submitted. This exhibition is open exclusively to current Artists Equity members. Membership is $60/year or $15/year for full-time art students. Artwork delivery is Tuesday, September 2, 2025, from 11 AM to 2 PM. Artists' reception is Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 2–4 PM. Pickup of unsold artwork is Monday, October 13, 2025, from 11 AM to 2 PM. Artists will be notified of accepted work in early August.
