About This Call
The Impact of Little Things is an 8x8 exhibition fundraiser for The Hub on Canal and Jane's Art Center running November 1-29, 2025. This exhibition of 8x8-inch original art welcomes submissions from artists of all ages and skill levels, including professional and amateur artists, designers, musicians, and the general public. Artwork submissions are accepted through October 1, 2025, with no entry fee.
All mediums are acceptable. Each artist may submit up to four artworks of any medium (2D or 3D). 2D artwork must be eight inches square including frame (8"h x 8"w); 3D artwork must be eight inches cubed including platform or stand (8"h x 8"w x 8"d). All artwork must be signed only on the back (2D) or bottom (3D) and will be exhibited anonymously. Canvases or framed artwork must be wired on the back for hanging; no sawtooth hangers are allowed. Artists are responsible for art supplies, materials, and shipping costs to The Hub on Canal.
All submitted artwork becomes the property of The Hub on Canal to sell during the exhibition at $20 each to support community events, outreach programs, and public art events. Artists' names will be revealed to buyers upon purchase. Unsold artwork will not be returned to artists. Walk-in entries are due by October 1, 10am-5pm. International entries must be mailed by September 10; US entries must be mailed by September 20. Contact Rita West at [email protected] or 386.451.2310 with questions.
