The Hunterdon Art Tour 2019

The Hunterdon Art Tour (THAT) is an annual countywide driving tour of artist's studios held in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. The 2019 tour takes place on Saturday, May 4th and Sunday, May 5th from 10 AM to 6 PM each day. THAT cultivates awareness of and builds connections within Hunterdon County's creative and educational communities, supporting diverse artists of all ages working in the fine, visual, performing and literary arts including painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, sculpture, performance, film, mixed media, textiles, ceramics, woodworking, glass and jewelry.

Individual artists pay a $125 entry fee; group venues pay $250. Individual artists receive their own artist's page on THAT's website and are shown on both online and printed maps. Group venues are also shown on maps and have a page on the website. Individual artists have the option of submitting a piece for the exhibition and sale at the Hunterdon Art Museum. Entry requires 6 images: 5 of artwork and 1 of the artist in their studio. Group venues must submit 6 images showing any combination of the venue and artwork.

THAT includes an artist-supported exhibition, sale and opening reception at the Hunterdon Art Museum in Clinton on Friday, May 3rd from 7 PM to 9 PM. Artists may submit one piece of artwork for this show and sale. If sold, 25% of the price goes to THAT, 25% to the Hunterdon Art Museum, and 50% to the artist. Unsold work will be returned to the artist. Artists are responsible for drop-off and pick-up of artwork. The application deadline is February 15, 2019.
