About This Call
The Lab on Santa Fe is seeking work that tackles the human condition for an exhibition running December 5-21, 2025. The gallery is located in Colorado's most popular art district and will showcase accepted work during First Friday of December. The gallery sells a significant amount of art.
Submissions should center on the complexity and stress of human experience—the mess, severity, humor, drama, tenderness, and psychological aspects of life. Pieces focusing on the beauty of nature will not be accepted. The gallery seeks work with attitude, swagger, and authenticity; artists are encouraged to embrace vulnerability and imperfection. All styles and mediums are welcome, from literal to abstract.
Eligibility is limited to Colorado artists only. All submitted work must be for sale. Submissions require 1-3 images and optionally 1 video. Entry fee is $34.00. Measurements provided in applications must be accurate. Application deadline is August 17, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MDT.
