Eligibility is open to southeastern American artists residing in AL, AR, FL, GA, LA, MS, NC, SC, or TN who are 18 years and older. Work must have been completed within the last four years. Original works in any media that requires installation into a gallery space are eligible. Entry fee is $20 per entry, with up to three artworks per entry. Submissions require 1-3 images per work (1 general image and up to 3 detail images), submitted as JPEG files no smaller than 1200 pixels on the longer side at 72 dpi, maximum 5 MB each. Accepted artists must provide artist biography, detailed installation instructions, and a PDF with visual aids for installation. High-resolution JPEG files (minimum 300 DPI) will be required for accepted work.
The jury panel includes Dr. Leslie Hammond, president of Artistic Eye Fine Art Services and former Appleton Museum of Art Curator, and Victoria Billig, Assistant Director of Museum Operations at the Appleton Museum of Art. Notifications will be emailed July 21, 2025. Accepted artists will receive a stipend for travel to the gallery for in-person installation (August 25-28, 2025) or for artwork shipment. A 10% commission will be charged on all sales. Artwork cannot contain toxic, flammable, or inherently dangerous materials, and all cords must be properly grounded with GFCI plugs.
