The Gallery at Mayfair 2015

Mayfair Festival of the Arts announces a call for artists for The Gallery at Mayfair, a juried art exhibition. This exhibition welcomes artists from across the United States who work in any visual art media. The Gallery is located in the Collector's Café on the grounds of the Arts Festival, which is in its 29th consecutive year and attracts 25,000 to 35,000 annual visitors from eastern PA and western NJ.

The exhibition will be held at Lehigh County Agricultural Society's Exhibit Hall, Allentown Fairgrounds, 1950 Liberty St., Allentown, PA, from Friday, May 22, 10 a.m. through Monday, May 25, 2015, 6 p.m. All media is eligible. Artists must be over 18 years old. For 2D work, the maximum size is 36" x 48" including frame, and work must be framed and prepared for hanging. 3D work may be displayed on the floor or pedestal, with the pedestal provided by the artist. The entry fee is $35.00. Submit up to 3 images identified with artist, medium, size, value, and delivery method. Notification of acceptance will be on or before March 16, 2015.

Accepted work may be delivered in person on Wednesday, May 20, 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., or shipped (must arrive Thursday May 14, Friday May 15, or Monday May 18). Shipped work must include pre-paid return shipping and insurance. Work may be picked up on Festival grounds on Tuesday, May 26, 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. If work is sold, artists receive 70% of the sale price by June 30, 2015. Awards: First Place $500 (1 awarded), Second Place $250 (2 awarded). All three award winners will be featured artists in next year's Gallery at Mayfair.
