The Gallery at Mayfair

Mayfair Festival of the Arts announces a call for artists for The Gallery at Mayfair, a juried art exhibition. This exhibition welcomes artists from across the United States who work in any visual art media. The Gallery is located in the Collector's Café on the grounds of the Arts Festival, which is in its 30th consecutive year and attracts 25,000 to 35,000 annual visitors from eastern PA and western NJ.

The exhibition will be held at Lehigh County Agricultural Society's Exhibit Hall, Allentown Fairgrounds, 1950 Liberty Street, Allentown, PA. All work will remain on display Friday, May 27, 10am through Monday, May 30, 2016, 6pm. Artists must interpret the theme RENEWAL in their respective medium. All media is eligible; artists must be over 18 years old. 2D work must be up to 36" x 48" including frame and prepared for hanging. 3D work may be displayed on floor or pedestal, with the pedestal provided by the artist. Entry fee is $35.00. Submit up to 3 images identified with artist, medium, size, value, and delivery method.

Awards include First Place $500 (1 awarded), Second Place $250 (2 awarded), and a Special Juror Award of $100 (1 awarded). The top three awards will be decided by blind jury. All three award winners will be featured artists in next year's Gallery at Mayfair. The Special Juror Award will be selected from artists residing in Lehigh, Northampton, and Berks counties. Notification of acceptance will be on or before Monday, March 21, 2016. If work is sold during Mayfair, artists will receive 70% of the sale price by June 30, 2016.
