The Figure in Contemporary Art; 15th Annual Contemporary Figurative Show

The Hilliard Gallery presents "The Figure in Contemporary Art," the 15th annual contemporary figurative art show. This exhibition explores the role of the human figure in contemporary art today and continues to examine where figurative art stands in the current art world. The show features a thoughtfully curated selection of exceptional artists whose works derive their subjects or inspirations from the figure.

The exhibition is open to work in all media and styles. All submitted works must be available for sale. Submission deadline is March 14, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Entry fee is $20.00 plus a $2.50 media fee. Artists must submit 3-5 images (or a combination of up to 5 total samples including audio and video files, with a maximum of 3 audio files and 3 video files). Selected artwork must be delivered by March 30, 2022. Artwork pricing on submission should reflect the retail price for the show. All works on paper must be framed and ready to hang; all other work must be able to be displayed in a finished state. Shipping is the artist's responsibility. The exhibition runs April 1 - May 25, 2022. Unsold artwork must be picked up or arrangements made for return shipping by June 6, 2022.
