The Fall Magnificent Mile Art Festival 2027

The Magnificent Mile Art Festival is a free-to-the-public urban art event showcasing approximately 60 artists in the plaza and sidewalks of 875 North Michigan Avenue in Chicago. The festival is hosted by 875 North Michigan Avenue and The Magnificent Mile Association. Michigan Avenue, known as "The Magnificent Mile," is Chicago's world-renowned upscale shopping area with luxury stores, boutiques, residences, and offices that attract tourists, residents, and area professionals daily. Area residents have an average household net worth exceeding $790,000, with 38% holding graduate degrees or higher.

Artists retain all sales income from the festival. Approximately 60 booth spaces are available. Amdur Productions staff provides support throughout the event, including booth sitting, load-in assistance, and overnight security. Equipment rental is available for tents, tent weights, tables, and chairs (fees apply). Limited professional panel walls are available on a first-come, first-served basis (fees apply). Set up and take down assistance is available on a scheduled, pre-reserved basis (fees apply). Awards are bestowed at the festival. The festival is supported by comprehensive marketing including digital and print advertisements, radio, posters, street banners, social media, and direct mail postcards, along with professional public relations support.

Application deadline is January 18, 2027. Notifications of acceptance will be provided online by February 18, 2027. Registration forms and show fees are due by March 18, 2027. Space fees are $975 for 11' x 10' spaces and $1,925 for 20' x 10' spaces (both include permit fees). All artwork must be original, created by the accepted artist(s), and offered for sale. The artist must be present during all festival hours. Early bird application promotion is available through November 30, 2026. Cancellations must be submitted in writing by email to [email protected] by April 1, 2027 for a refund (less $50 fee).
