The Fall Art Show 2025

The Fall Art Show 2025 is an open juried exhibition hosted by the Lake Granbury Art Association. The show runs from August 30 to October 26, 2025, at the Shanley House Gallery, 224 North Travis Street, Granbury, TX 76048. The official opening is Saturday, August 30, 2025, with a reception and awards presentation on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Eligibility is open to all artists 18 years of age and over in the United States. Artwork must have been executed in the last 3 years and must not have been exhibited in any previous LGAA sponsored juried competition. Only original two or three-dimensional art is eligible. Accepted mediums include painting (oil, water media, acrylic), drawing (charcoal, graphite, pastel, pen and ink, pencil), dimensional fine art (glass, ceramics, clay, fiber, sculpture, leather, metal, wood, jewelry), graphics (computer art, digital art, print making, photography—no AI), and mixed media (mixed media, collage). No nudes are accepted. Work must be original in concept and execution and cannot be work done in any class or under the guidance of an instructor.

Entry deadline is July 27, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Entry fee is $45 for one entry and $10 for each additional entry, with a maximum of 3 entries. Submissions require 1 to 3 images. The juror will select up to 65 images for exhibition. Total prizes are $4,000, including a $1,000 Best of Show Award. Accepted work will be judged as a whole and in individual media categories. Juror Mary Rush Waters is an accomplished artist working in multiple mediums with a background in art education and bronze sculpture.

Two-dimensional work must not exceed 44 inches in width and 72 inches in height including the frame, with a minimum image size of 9x12 inches excluding the frame/mat. Three-dimensional work must not exceed 60 pounds in weight or 60 inches in any direction. Two-dimensional work must be suitably framed or gallery-wrapped canvas with all sides painted (not white) and must be ready to hang with heavy-gauge wire attached to the back. All work must be available for sale at current market value. LGAA retains 25 percent commission on all sales. Art delivery ends August 27, 2025. Hand-delivered pieces are accepted at the Shanley House on Tuesday, August 26, and Wednesday, August 27, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Shipped artwork must arrive by August 27, 2025, and must include a reusable shipping carton and pre-paid return address label. Artists are responsible for insuring their work. In-person pick-up is available October 27-28, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Return of shipped artwork begins October 27, 2025.
