The Falkirk Galleries Spring Inspiration 2016 Open Juried Art Exhibition

The Falkirk Galleries Spring Inspiration 2016 Open Juried Art Exhibition is open to artists residing in the San Francisco Bay Area. Submit up to 3 separate pieces of original work completed in the past two years that have not previously been shown in a Falkirk Cultural Center exhibition. All media are accepted except video and jewelry. Only digitally uploaded images will be accepted, with 1 digital image required for each piece of artwork. The submission deadline is Sunday, May 15, 2016 at midnight. The exhibition runs June 3 - July 15, 2016.

The entry fee is $40 for up to three entries. Size limitations apply: 2D artwork must not exceed 60 x 60 inches and 40 pounds total weight; 3D artwork must not exceed 48 x 48 x 48 inches and 70 pounds. All works on paper must be framed, and all 2D artwork must be in good condition and ready to hang with proper hanging wires. Diptychs and triptychs count as one piece. 3D artists may submit two images or views for each artwork. Hand delivery only is required for accepted entries.

Awards include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Best in Show Awards and one Honorable Mention Award. All award recipients receive up to $100 in prize money, a certificate of entry ($40 value) to a future Falkirk Galleries open juried art show, and a certificate of recognition. The jurors are Michael R. Davis and Risa De Ferrari, Manager of Falkirk Cultural Center. Accepted artwork may be used for advertising and promoting the exhibition.
