The Face of Time

Sedona Arts Center invites emerging to professional artists, 18 years and older, to submit portrait work for The Face of Time Exhibition. This exhibition explores the richness of emotion and identity, presenting striking depictions of how time can change a face. Artwork must have been made within the last 3 years and cannot have been previously displayed in any other Sedona Arts Center Exhibition.

Artists may submit up to three pieces. Each submission requires a $30 non-refundable entry fee. Work samples should be submitted as JPEG images with a minimum resolution of 300 DPI, including the title, dimensions, medium, and price on the entry form. Submitted images should not include matting or framing and should be cropped to show only the artwork. The entry deadline is July 1, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Notifications will be sent by July 7, 2025. Shipped work must be received by July 28, 2025, or hand-delivered by that date.

The exhibition runs August 1 – September 12, 2025, on-site at Sedona Arts Center, 15 Art Barn Road, Sedona, AZ 86336. The opening reception is August 1, 2025, 4-6pm. Monetary awards will be given for First Place/Best of Show ($500), Second ($250), and Third ($150) place. Honorable mention awards will be awarded at the discretion of the jurors with no monetary amount attached. A People's Choice Award will be announced at the end of the show with no monetary award attached.
