The Dog Days of Summer 2023

"The Dog Days of Summer" is a 6-week online exhibition running from July 1st through August 11th. The gallery invites artists worldwide to submit artwork encompassing the hot, sultry, lazy summer days between July 3rd and August 11th. Artists may submit work in any medium, from any year, and any size they would be willing to ship to a potential buyer. Accepted themes include tropical or desert landscapes, seascapes, poolside vibes, summer foods, or any interpretation of the Dog Days of Summer.

KBM Art Gallery is an online-only gallery with a social media audience of over 26,000 followers and receives thousands of visits from around the world. All accepted artworks will receive at least one dedicated social media post to promote the exhibition, and these posts remain online permanently. The gallery accepts and promotes work at any price set by the artist, with artists retaining 100% of profits from sales and working directly with buyers to negotiate framing and shipping.

Submissions must include 1-6 JPEG images of up to 6 different artworks. For 3D works, use an all-white background with clear lighting and minimal shadows, cropped with the artwork centered. For 2D works, ensure clear lighting and crop to show only the artwork. Photos may be edited for optimal lighting and exposure. Artists must be 18 years or older, submit original work only, and may not submit artwork containing nudity, erotic content, or offensive or harassing themes. Entry fee is $30.00 plus $3.00 media fee, non-refundable.
