The Crow Show 2026

The Crow Show 2026 is the celebratory 12th anniversary of the national exhibition of visual arts running February 20 - April 3, 2026, produced by The Studio Door. For over a decade, The Crow Show has been a celebrated tradition in San Diego, uniting artists from across the nation in a shared fascination with the enigmatic crow. This annual exhibition invites artists to explore the crow's many faces—whether rooted in reality or soaring through the realms of fantasy. Creative interpretations of all black birds, ravens, and other Corvus species are welcome.

The juror will select works for both the physical gallery at The Studio Door in San Diego and an online gallery, allowing more works to be seen beyond the limitations of the main gallery. All accepted works, regardless of gallery or online placement, are eligible for Best in Show awards. A Juror's Award in the form of a check for $100 will be presented to three artists for artworks that express the most imaginative and compelling interpretations of the theme. All selected artwork will be included in The Crow Show 2026 national exhibition catalog.

Entry fee is $35.00 with a $5.00 media fee for 2nd and 3rd artwork entries. Artists may submit 1-3 images. The public reception is scheduled for Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 6 PM - 9 PM. Artists will be notified by January 17, 2026. The Studio Door takes a 50% commission on sales, with artwork remaining on exhibit for the duration of the show.
