The Crow Show 2025

The Crow Show 2025 is the 11th anniversary national exhibition of visual arts running March 6-29, 2025, produced by The Studio Door in San Diego. The exhibition invites artists to explore diverse artistic interpretations of crows and other Corvus species, whether rooted in reality or fantasy. For over a decade, The Crow Show has united artists from across the nation in exploring the crow as a symbol of mystery, transformation, and intelligence.

The juror is Patric Stillman, Gallery Owner of The Studio Door. Three artists will receive a Juror's Award certificate and $100 check for artworks expressing the most imaginative interpretation of the theme. Past jurors have valued originality, artistic execution, emotional impact, and creative interpretation. All artwork selected will be included in the national exhibition catalog. The juror will select works for both the physical gallery exhibition and an online gallery, allowing more works to be seen beyond gallery limitations. All accepted works are eligible for Best in Show regardless of placement.

Entry fee is $35, with an additional $5 media fee for each 2nd and 3rd artwork entry. Artists may submit 1-3 images. A public reception is scheduled for Saturday, March 15, 2025, 6-9 PM. The gallery will have extended hours on March 6, 2025 for the monthly First Thursday Walk in ART. Artists will be notified by February 5, 2025. Shipped artwork must arrive by February 28, 2025. Hand-delivery is available Saturday, March 1, 2025, 11 AM-5 PM. Artwork pickup is Saturday, March 29, 2025, 4-5 PM or Tuesday, April 1, 2025, 11 AM-5 PM. The Studio Door takes 50% commission on sales, with artist payment mailed within 30 days after the show closes. All submissions are handled through CAFÉ (Callforentry.org).
