About This Call
Open to artists residing in Florida. This juried exhibition features 2D and 3D original work in all media completed in the last 12 months and not previously exhibited at the Courthouse Cultural Center. Giclees will be accepted in photography only.
Submission Deadline: Sunday, July 24, 2011. Entry fee is $30.00 for one image per artist. A maximum of three images may be submitted per artist, with a $5.00 fee for each additional image. Arts Council members may call 772-287-6676 for a discount coupon code to get the third image free. Selection notice will be sent Tuesday, August 23, 2011. Artwork delivery is Thursday, September 15 and Friday, September 16, 2011, from 10 AM to 2 PM at The Court House Cultural Center, 80 East Ocean Blvd, Stuart, Florida 34994.
Exhibition runs Friday, September 23 to Thursday, November 17, 2011. Exhibition hours are Tuesday through Friday, 10 AM to 4 PM; Saturday, 11 AM to 2 PM. Opening Reception & Awards: Friday, September 23, 2011, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Artwork pickup is Friday, November 18, 2011, from 10 AM to 2 PM. Awards include Best of Show, First, Second, Third Place, and three Honorable Mentions. A 20% donation benefiting the Arts Council will be deducted from all sales. 2D work must be properly framed with wire attached for hanging, using plexi-glass only, with maximum framed dimensions of 15 square feet. 3D work is limited to 70 lbs maximum weight.
