The Clay Cup V: Vessel, Icon, Canvas

The Clay Cup V: Vessel, Icon, Canvas is an exhibition open to residents 18 and older from all 50 states and Washington D.C. Work must be ceramic and address the theme "cup." Artists may enter up to 3 pieces or sets. Sets submitted as a single entry must be measured and priced as one. No piece or set should exceed 14 inches in any dimension or 10 pounds in weight. Substitutions for accepted works are not allowed.

Entry fee is $30 for standard submissions and $25 for currently enrolled students. The non-refundable fee covers one, two, or three entries. Submit only 1 image per object, with a minimum of 1 and maximum of 3 images total. More than one entry by an artist may be selected by the juror. By submitting an entry, the artist agrees to the gallery's use of images for advertisement purposes.

Entry Deadline: September 12, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Notifications will be sent September 27. Shipped work is accepted October 11-15. The exhibition runs October 25 - December 2, 2021. The Bingham Gallery takes a 30% commission on sales. Insurance value will automatically be set at 70% of retail. Payment to artists for artwork sales are issued by the University of Missouri and can take 2-3 weeks. Entrants are responsible for shipping costs to the gallery and insuring the shipment. The gallery will pay return shipping and insure work for return. All work must be double boxed with ample padding and no packing peanuts.
