The City: An Artist's Perspective

The Sasse Museum of Art invites artists worldwide to submit works exploring the urban experience through their unique creative lens. Cities pulse with life, contradiction, and endless stories—from towering skylines that pierce the heavens to intimate street corners where human dramas unfold daily. This juried exhibition seeks submissions that capture the multifaceted nature of urban environments: their beauty and decay, their energy and solitude, their grand architecture and forgotten details.

Eligible categories include painting, collage/mixed-media, and photography. Selected works will be featured in a professionally produced catalog, showcased on the Museum's digital platform, and available for purchase on Amazon. Category winners will receive prominent placement with a dedicated four-page spread at the front of the catalog, ensuring maximum visibility for their artistic vision.

Entry fees are $30 for the first entry and $15 for additional entries. Museum members receive discounted rates: $15 per entry for regular members, and free submissions for Supporter Level Members and above. Submissions must be JPEG files with minimum 2400 pixels on the longest side at 300 DPI. Artists retain all copyrights to their images, with the museum receiving one-time publication rights only.
