About This Call

This is an open call to artists for an international juried art exhibition at Orr Street Studios in Columbia, Missouri. The exhibition will explore ways that a sense of place is impacted by what we build. All two-dimensional media will be considered, and artists are encouraged to adopt a wide interpretation of the exhibition theme.

Eligibility is open to all artists 18 years of age or older. The entry fee is $25 for up to three images, plus $10 for each additional image (minimum 3, maximum 20 images). Only original works may be submitted. Entries that differ significantly from their digital images may be rejected. All entries must be received by midnight April 22, 2018 CST. Notification of acceptance will be made via email by May 7, 2018, with a return confirmation of participation required by May 11, 2018.

Accepted work must be two-dimensional, maximum size 36" x 60" x 4" D, professionally framed (Plexiglas required except for hand-delivered work less than 24" x 30"), wired and ready for hanging. All artwork must be priced for sale. Shipped artwork must arrive May 11-21, 2018. Hand delivery is available May 20-21, 2018. The exhibition runs June 1 – July 15, 2018, with an opening reception and award presentation on Friday June 1 from 6-9 PM.
