The Big Small Show 2025

The Big Small Show 2025 is Drawing Rooms' year-end fundraiser exhibition, now in its tenth year. The exhibition will feature works made in the past two years and will be displayed across multiple gallery spaces: The Terrarium Gallery, The Alcove Gallery, and Gallery One. The curator will select and group works to create visual, formal, and conceptual connections.

Any media is acceptable, including painting, drawing, sculpture, collage, textiles, photography, and prints. Works should be original and made within the past two years. Small works up to 18 x 24 inches (including frame size) are preferred, though a limited number of larger works will be included. All works must be for sale with 60% of proceeds going to the artist and 40% to Drawing Rooms. Works must be ready-to-hang with appropriate hanging hardware; cleats or systems requiring wall screws are not acceptable.

The exhibition runs December 11, 2025 through January 18, 2026. Events include an opening weekend reception (December 12-14), artist meet-and-greets (December 20 and January 11), and a closing reception (January 18). A catalog will be created and made available online and for sale on Amazon and at Drawing Rooms. The exhibition will be featured on Artsy and promoted through the organization's website, email newsletter, and social media. The entry fee is $40 and includes a copy of the print catalog. Submissions are due October 31, 2025, with artist notification on November 5, 2025. Works may be dropped off November 21-23, 2025, or mailed to arrive by November 24, 2025. Pickup is scheduled for January 18-20, 2026.
