The Big Small Show 2024

The Big Small Show 2024 is a year-end holiday fundraiser exhibition running from November 22 to December 21, 2024, at Drawing Rooms in Jersey City, NJ. The show will feature works on paper created in the past two years, with an opening reception from November 22-24. Meet the Artists events are scheduled for Saturdays December 7, 14, and 21 from 3-5pm. A catalog featuring all works will be created and made available online, for sale on Amazon, and at Drawing Rooms. The exhibition will be featured on Artsy and promoted through the organization's website, email newsletter, and social media.

Acceptable works are works on paper, framed or mounted on cradled panel, completed within the past two years. All works must be for sale and can be up to 18 x 24 inches (interior frame size cannot exceed 18 x 24 inches). Prices must be $500 or less. Works must be framed in simple frames (white, black, or wood tones) and ready-to-hang. The curator will select a small group of each artist's works and arrange them to create visual, formal, and conceptual connections.

Application fee is $5 through CAFE. Accepted artists pay a $40 hanging fee, which includes a copy of the catalog. All works in the exhibit must be for sale with 60% of proceeds going to artists and 40% to Drawing Rooms. Drawing Rooms will donate 10% of its proceeds to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Submissions are due October 27, 2024, with artist notification on October 29, 2024. Drop-off dates are November 7-9, 2024, at two locations. Pick-up is scheduled for January 10-12, 2025. Artists must be over 18 and able to personally drop off and pick up their work.
