The Betsy Price Citywide High School Art Competition 2017

The Betsy Price Citywide High School Art Competition 2017 is open to all high school students in Fort Worth, TX and surrounding areas within a 20 mile radius. Works must be 2-D or 3-D, original, and completed within the last year. All works must be available through the entire run of the show and cannot be sold or shown elsewhere during the exhibition timeframe.

Two-dimensional works cannot exceed 60" in height or width including frame. Three-dimensional works cannot exceed 24" in height or width. Entrants may submit up to three digital images of three different artworks via CaFÉ with no entry fee. Each work must be represented by only one image. Selected works must be delivered by May 19, 2017 to Fort Works Art Gallery (M-Sat 9-6pm). For other delivery arrangements, contact 817.759.9475.

Exhibition dates are May 23 – June 3, 2017, with an award ceremony on May 27, 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. Jurors are Andrea Karnes and Sedrick Huckaby. Awards: 1st place - $500 (exhibited in Fort Worth City Hall for 1 year); 2nd place - $300; 3rd place - $100. Top selections will be featured in a 2-week exhibition at Fort Works Art.
