The Beauty Of Blackness Fine Art Show 2026

The 7th Annual Beauty Of Blackness Fine Art Show takes place September 3-6, 2026, Labor Day weekend at The Opera Galleria in Fort Collins, CO. This curated exhibition celebrates the brilliance, depth, and refinement of Black American and Artists of Color. Set in the vibrant heart of Old Town Fort Collins, the show is an exclusive destination for collectors seeking original, investment-worthy artwork that reflects cultural depth and timeless beauty.

The show welcomes Black, African American, and Artists of Color working in original fine art mediums including painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, fine art photography, metal and glass art, fine printmaking, and textile and fiber art. Only original, gallery-quality works are accepted - this is not a craft show. All artwork must have been completed within the last four years and be 100% original. Wearable art, household items, and notecards are prohibited.

Booth fees are $850 for single space, $250 for corner space, and $450 for gallery wall space (limited to 3 paintings maximum 30 inches in any direction with 25% commission). Artists must supply their own Pro Panels and lighting. The application is free with a limit of 2 applications per artist, requiring 5 images and a booth shot. The application deadline is June 15, 2026, with notification on June 30, 2026.
