The Artist's Eye

The Artist's Eye invites artists to show what they see, feel and express through their art. The exhibition is open to all artists over the age of 18 and accepts painting, photography, sculpture, printmaking, mixed media, art of the book, fiber art, fine art crafts, and ceramics. Video, film, and installations are not accepted.

The show will be presented as an online exhibition in the MSA Virtual Gallery, which will include the price and contact information of the artist. A video version showing all works will also be produced and remain available after the show closes. Exhibition dates are June 24 through August 25, 2024. A virtual Zoom reception will be held on Sunday, June 30 at 5pm PST. The juror is Susan Snyder, a partner at Caldwell Snyder Gallery in San Francisco and St. Helena, California.

Entry fees are $35 for three pieces ($30 for MSA members), with an additional $7 per piece up to a total of ten pieces. Entries must be submitted digitally via the CaFE application by June 8, 2024 at 11:59pm Mountain Time. Notification of acceptance will be by email by June 17, 2024. Awards include First Prize ($500), Second Prize ($300), Third Prize ($100), and non-monetary Honorable Mention awards at the juror's discretion. No more than two works by an artist will be included in the final selection. Artwork previously juried into an MSA exhibition will not be accepted. Artists handle all sales of their work directly with buyers; MSA takes no commission.
