The Art of the Automobile 2025

Presented by the Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association, the Classic Car & Art of the Automobile show aims to celebrate and showcase the creativity, design, and beauty of the automotive world. This includes everything from simple line drawings of a concept car to images of automobiles or parts that seem out of place or time, or as sculptures made from automotive parts. It explores what was, what is, and what could be in the realm of automotive artistry.

Each artist may enter up to five (5) total pieces of 2D or 3D classic car artworks. Entry fee is $15 for BRMAA members, $35 for non-members. The fee is per participating artist, NOT per piece. Members of the Art Center can receive a discount code by reaching out to Kayla Nichols at [email protected]. All artists, 18 years or older, amateur or professional, are eligible to apply. Application and entry fee must be received by BRMAA or postmarked by Tuesday, May 27, 2025.

All works must be original, hand-produced by the artist, completed within the last 5 years, and not shown within the last year at the Art Center. All artwork must be "for sale" – artwork marked "not for sale" or "NFS" will not be accepted, unless approved by BRMAA in advance. Non-member artists will receive 65% of the retail price and BRMAA will retain a 35% commission. BRMAA members receive 70% of the retail price and BRMAA retains a 30% commission.
