About This Call
The Art of Progress Prize is dsm-firmenich's inaugural global award supporting artists whose multi-sensory, environmentally conscious practices push creative boundaries. The competition invites artists aged 35 and under from anywhere in the world working across craft/traditional arts, photography, drawing, film/video/new media, mixed-media/multi-discipline, painting, and sculpture. Eligible practices include bio-art, data visualization, scent-driven installations, and other work that intersects art, innovation, and sustainability.
A Selection Committee of experts will nominate ten finalists, among whom up to five will be selected to present their work in an exhibition at the Swiss headquarters on June 18, 2026. A distinguished international jury will then select the Grand Prize winner. The award includes a €15,000 development grant, a year-long mentorship, and potential future collaborations.
Submission deadline: March 1, 2026.
