About This Call

Paradise Center for the Arts is seeking submissions of recent artwork from visual artists for a group exhibition titled The Art of Healing and Recovery. The exhibition will feature individuals of all artistic abilities whose artwork played a pivotal role in their healing and recovery processes from addiction, mental illness, grief and loss, physical malady, and emotional/physical trauma.

Visual artwork (2D & 3D) will be installed in the Carlander Family Gallery, Lois Vranesh Boardroom Gallery, and K&M Gallery. The center is also seeking submissions from recovering artists in the literary arts (poetry, flash fiction/short short story) and music composition/performance arts to perform live at the Gallery Opening Reception.

Eligible categories include Craft/Traditional Arts, Photography, Drawing, Film/Video/New Media, Mixed-Media/Multi-Discipline, Painting, and Sculpture. Submissions are accepted until January 15, 2026, with final notification of the committee's decision no later than January 22, 2026. Early submissions are encouraged. The exhibition runs February 23 - April 11, 2026. To submit work for consideration, send an email to [email protected]
